ADDS Dataserver 1.0 Release Notes (September 2006)

New features

• Flight path way points are selectable by lon/lat and/or station names
• Flight path results are sorted by distance along the flightpath (from start to end) for METARS, PIREPS, TAFS and STATIONS

Performance improvements, bug fixes

• Flight path queries are more accurate and no longer leave out data on the edges of the path
• mostRecent queries now require a time constraint. This provides consistent behavior between mostRecent and the mostRecentForEachStation constraint
• METARs with an unknown station are now included in results
• NIL METARs are filtered out
• The ordering of TAFS forecasts has been corrected
• TAFS mostRecent=true now reports all available forecasts, previously the report was displaying only one of the forecasts
• Duplicate TAF information is no longer returned
• TAFS documentation provides information on icing and turbulence intensity values
• PIREPs documentation indicates constraint values where needed
